It is the mission of Western Plains Animal Refuge to foster respect for all creatures, domestic and wild. They work to educate the public on animal safety, responsible pet care, cruelty prevention, training, and rehabilitation. The Western Plains Animal Refuge actively works to reduce the pet overpopulation problem and provide medical care, safe shelter, rehabilitation, placement services and adoptions for hundreds of animals, big and small.
