Founded after the 2004 tsunami, the student run Sri Lankan Aid organization works to help those in the most adversely affected and disenfranchised areas of Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan Aid is based out of Canada and the U.S. and projects include school renovations, new classroom and community building construction, education projects and distribution of medical equipment with more planned as resources allow.
