Since 1988, the Jewish Outreach Institute (JOI) has honored Jewish values by promoting a more welcoming and inclusive North American Jewish community that embraces intermarried/interpartnered families and unaffiliated Jews, and encourages their increased participation in Jewish life. As an independent, national, trans-denominational organization, JOI is a recognized leader in the development of Jewish community-based outreach programming. JOI conducts research, implements programs, and serves as a national training institution and network for Jewish communal professionals and volunteer leaders, guiding and supporting innovative outreach in communities throughout North America.
