For over 60 years, the Guide Dogs of America has provided trained guide dogs free of charge to enable the blind and visually impaired from the United States and Canada to pursue their goals with increased mobility and independence. Guide Dogs of America's three main programs are the Breeding Program, the Puppy Raising Program and the Guide Dog Program. The core programs are supported by advocacy and public education services and are funded solely by private sector donations.
