Preventing the extinction of the Gibbon is the work of the Gibbon Conservation Center. Through activities such as establishing safe gene pools, providing haven, education, conducting behavioral studies, support of ongoing field conservation studies and working with zoos and rescue centers to improve captive management, the GCC fosters the propagation, conservation and betterment of this highly endangered primate.
