While focusing on the history, biology, behavior and ecology of the gray wolf, the California Wolf Center seeks to increase public awareness and understanding of all wildlife. The Center hosts and funds research on captive and free-ranging wolves offers educational presentations and participates in conservation programs. Captive breeding of endangered species of wolves and a variety of education programs for adults and children help to positively impact the recovery efforts.
