First organized in the 1920’s, the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra continues to delight the community with a wide range of musical offerings and music education programs. In addition to the Symphony's own concert season, chamber music series and more, the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra has welcomed three affiliated organizations to the Symphony family and collaborates with the Civic Dance Theater in an annual performance of The Nutcracker Ballet.
