Cars 4 Caring - Car Give Away Request

Since we started, Cars 4 Causes^® has given away over $1.1 million worth of vehicles to families in need. As large as this number is, it still does not come close to meeting the demand for people who are in need of a car and simply cannot afford to purchase one. The demand has become so high that we are now asking for those in need to submit their vehicle requests online instead of calling our office directly. Presently, this program is only available to California residents. We review each and every submission in order to determine if we can fulfill the requested need, as each person's situation is unique. Unfortunately, not every vehicle donated is eligible for our Car Give-Away Program and submitting your request does not guarantee that a vehicle will be made available for you, but we promise to read each request.

Please be aware that in order to qualify for a vehicle, you MUST be sponsored by a non-profit charity or religious organization. At this time, this program is only available to California residents. You will be contacted only in the event that a vehicle has been chosen for you. Again, please do not call our office with your vehicle requests as we do not have the staff to handle these calls. We understand that there are many people who are in need of reliable transportation and it is our continued goal to meet the needs of as many families and individuals as possible.

*Please note: We are prohibited from giving vehicles directly to individuals. Cars 4 Causes^® "The Charity That Gives to Charities"^® All applicants must be sponsored by a charity or religious organization to qualify.

Once we review your submission, we will consider your request and, based on your situation, we will try to match your request with the right vehicle. There are a limited number of donated vehicles available for the Car Give-Away Program, therefore, not all submissions will be honored. Because these vehicles are donated, Cars 4 Causes^® cannot control the frequency of when we receive them, and it is impossible to determine how long it may take until a vehicle may be available to meet your needs. All vehicles in the Cars 4 Caring^® Car Give-Away Program have passed our safety inspection, smog requirements and have proven to be reliable vehicles for our Car Give-Away Program recipients.
